Our event with Gov. Greg Abbott was held last week at the beautiful home of John Schweitzer, overlooking Lady Bird Lake with a great view of the Austin skyline (including The Tower). We had great attendance at the event. Our VIP reception began at 5:30pm and had 55 attendees, then our main reception began at 6pm and attendance grew to 116. We had Sen. Judith Zaffirini, Sen. Donna Campbell, Rep. Donna Howard, and Rep. Naishtat in attendance, as well as several deans from UT and members of the student government. We also raised over $170,000!
